ASCEND BEAUTY ACADEMY
Our motivation for opening a cosmetology school focused on natural hair care is due to the years of observing the gap and education of natural hair care in traditional cosmetology schools. I felt compelled to create the Ascend Beauty Academy.
My goal is to address the lack of emphasis on the unique needs and styles of African-American hair, including all textured here and styles, specific to black hair by establishing this cosmetology school, I aim to provide a comprehensive specialized education that equipped students with the skills and knowledge necessary to care for and style or hair types with a particular focus on the needs of the African-American and Afro Latina community.

I knew from an early age that I had a passion for doing hair. I watch my family create beautiful hairstyles together. I quickly realize that feeling confident and appearance can have a significant impact on our overall well-being. With 18+ years of experience and hair care, including working with a variety of textures, I have grown to my craft as a natural hair breeder. as a mother of seven daughters, I had the opportunity to further on my skills and expand my knowledge.
These experiences have fueled my dedication to providing exceptional hair care services that cater to the unique needs and styles of each individual, ensuring they leave my salon feeling and looking their best.

BOOKING
When booking an appointment be sure to add every SERVICE needed for your Appointment so that we can block the proper time for you. Any additional services cannot be added or paid for the day of because it would cut into the next person's time.
EXAMPLE: If you need your hair washed or colored before a style you must add Wash +Color+ Style.
